Finnish sauna

Heat as a wellness ritual

The Finnish sauna has been used for centuries to relax and recover. At Temper Club the wooden cabin runs at 85–95 °C, in a private, quiet space.

What happens in your body

Dry heat raises your body temperature, dilates blood vessels and speeds up your pulse, much like moderate exercise. Afterwards you typically feel muscle relaxation and a calmer mind, which helps you fall asleep.

How to do it at Temper Club

  1. 01

Shower and dry off before going in.

  2. 02

10 to 15 minutes per round; leave earlier if you feel dizzy or unwell.

  3. 03

Cool down (ice bath or a cool shower), rest a few minutes between rounds and hydrate.

Before you start

If you have cardiovascular problems, high or low blood pressure, are pregnant or take medication, talk to your doctor before using a sauna or cold water. This information is educational and does not replace medical advice.
